Oh yeah, I love that scene too! I always saw it as Gonta getting sleepy because Kokichi’s trying to explain his views on the killing game to him. Like that it’s all fictional or something like that. (Similar to how he’s implied to be trying to hint to Shuichi during his freetime events that they are being manipulated/shouldn’t “pursue the truth” during trials)
Which of course just confuses Gonta since he barely even grasps concepts like technology/the internet.
I also think it’s cute how Kokichi in the anthology is shown to also fall asleep during Gonta’s lectures. Showing that they both feel mutually close enough to eachother to know the other won’t be bothered if they aren’t polite and focused all the time.
(Which is especially cute given that Gonta’s whole thing is wanting to be a polite gentleman)

DANGANRONPA RANDOM WHEEL! SECRET SANTA! (V3 Version!)
Korekiyo: Kiyo’s secret Santa was Kirumi. I feel like Kirumi would try to make him something. Either that or buy him a beautiful ceramic mask. I feel like Korekiyo would like those.
Miu: Miu’s secret Santa was Kiyo. Kiyo probably would try to trade with someone else, but end up just buying Miu an appliance for her to take apart. She’d be confused about it at first, but I think she’d like it.
K1-B0: Keebo’s secret Santa was Miu. Of course. She would upgrade him to have a sweet singing voice using her skills, but she’d also make him an internal hard drive with all of the popular songs that he can listen to.
Himiko: Himiko’s secret Santa was Keebo. I feel like Keebo would try and make Himiko a rocket powered broom for her to fly around on, and some glitter that she can use in her magic shows to give things a more mystical feel. Miu would definitely help him a bit.
Angie: Angie’s secret Santa was Himiko. Himiko would try and make something homemade for Angie. It would be subpar at best, because art isn’t Himiko’s thing, but I think Angie is the kind of person who would really appreciate her effort and intentions.
Kokichi: Kokichi’s secret Santa was Angie. She straight-up bought Kokichi a muzzle. And then Miu stole it. So she ended up just giving him a carving of Atua and a half-hearted blessing? from Atua. Kokichi would still enjoy it.
Kaito: Kaito’s secret Santa was Kokichi. Kokichi would pretend to not participate in the game especially after the gift Angie got him, but he’d actually put effort and time into Kaito’s. He’d attempt to make him cookies or something, and then leave them in Kaito’s room. He’d deny any involvement just to watch Kaito eat them and freak out from not knowing who his secret Santa was.
Tenko: Tenko’s secret Santa is Kaito. No joke here, Kaito would literally not know what to buy Tenko. So he’d just buy her a blue shirt that says “Kill All Men.” She’d like it a bit, but be a bit indifferent about it.
Maki: Maki’s secret Santa is Tenko. Tenko would go all out to make Maki’s present the best! Her present would initially be teaching her Aikido. But thinking about Maki, she probably already knows Aikido. She won’t say anything though. Tenko would also lock Kokichi and Kaito in a closet so she (Maki.) could have a degenerate male free day.
Shuichi: Shuichi’s secret Santa is Maki. She’d only participate because it’s Shuichi and not one of the others. I feel like she’s the type of person to get someone else a gift card so they don’t have to participate more than they need to. So she just gave him her monocoins and a letter that says “Here.”
Tsumugi: Tsumugi’s secret Santa is Shuichi. Shuichi’s present was finally cosplaying with her and letting her turn him into a catboy maid. This present turns out to be fun for Kokichi.
Ryoma: Ryoma’s secret Santa is Tsumugi. In a not canon (for her character) twist, Tsumugi is actually nice to Ryoma and gets him a PS4. Yes. A PS4. The man likes video games.
Kaede: Kaede’s secret Santa is Ryoma. Ryoma isn’t sure what to get Kaede, and he doesn’t want to be basic and get her something piano related… but he found this really soft piano scarf… She loved it of course, and because he felt awkward he also bought a box of tea. Gingerbread tea.
Kirumi: Kirumi’s secret Santa is Kaede. She gives Kirumi the day off and decides to let The Ultimate Maid take a self-care day. She cooks for Kirumi, plays the piano for Kirumi, and does everything Kirumi would do to make sure she is comfortable. Kirumi greatly appreciates the effort Kaede puts in.
Rantaro: Rantaro’s secret Santa is Gonta. Gonta doesn’t really understand the whole premise of the game, so he gets Rantaro a butterfly pillow and matching bed covers. Rantaro loves them.
Gonta: This leaves Rantaro as Gonta’s secret Santa. And surprise surprise, Rantaro got the same exact thing for Gonta. Except the one he’s giving Gonta has honeybees on it.
This took… WAY TOO LONG. But I’d do it again! :D

look i was right there with you for a hot minute. i was going "based. based. based. based" for the first 20 or 30 seconds of that video. but then the baseds got more and more hesitant over time, as more and more money and effort went into this. sure, god gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers, but i- i don't know of any god that would ask this particular battle to be fought.
the thing that's... i think kinda admirable about this is... i don't think this guy is actually a huge fan of sayaka maizono. because like, who would be? that's not the point. the point is craftsmanship.
you notice here- there's no official merch in this video. there's no figures, no body pillows, no collection- this is all stuff he made. he just arbitrarily picked a perfectly generic nobody waifu to do a concerningly huge amount of craft projects about, as like, sort of an artistic constraint. it's like he's got a favorite color except that color is the least important danganronpa character. this isn't about sayaka- this is about making chainmail armor out of button pins, and cardboard cutouts the size of a tennis court.
but the thing that really gets me is the Waifu Warriors. like, okay, one cardboard cutout of sayaka maizono in army fatigues is obviously not enough to constitute a militia. i get that. of course you make more than one. but making the same cardboard cutout of sayaka maizono in army fatigues 21 times is where i lose the plot a little bit. what's the thought process where you've made twenty cardboard cutouts of sayaka maizono in army fatigues, and you go "...hm. this isn't enough yet. i think i need another cardboard cutout of sayaka maizono in army fatigues." and subsequently, what's the thought process where you have 21 cardboard cutouts of sayaka maizono in army fatigues, and you go "...okay, yes. this is a sufficient number of these. now i can stop." what is the logic governing the terminus of this endeavor?

“Fuuucckk...” Miu whined as her hands burned from working so fast on fixing Pixel’s circuits. Tears wouldn’t stop slipping from her eyes. She looked down at her phone, seeing 🤖 Kiibs 🤖 pop up she cringed. Was he someone Pixel attacked too? Would he chew her out? “One sec, babe. Kiibs is callin’ me...” She informed Kaede, before switching calls. “K-Kiibs? What’s up..?” She asked, trying not to sound miserable and failing.
Finally.. it felt like absolutely FOREVER since Kiibo originally called Miu.. which in fact was only about 20 minutes.. by this point his battery was at.. 19%. Not good.. not good at all.. He was scared.. for his life.
So you could only imagine the amount of relief he felt when Miu picked up.
"M-Miu..! You're finally here! I was so worried.. Something's wrong, very very wrong. I don't know what's going on, but I've had some sort of malfunction, and I need your help, fast... Where are you?"
He says.. extremely quickly out of panic. It honestly would be surprising if Miu caught.. all of that.. Sadly, he didn't notice Miu's tone either.. yet. For now, at least.. he was too panicked to notice now.. he just didn't want to die..

“What-!? You too??” Miu asked in disbelief. Luckily, she was working so fast that Pixel’s circuits were nearly complete. She could... she could leave her here turned off for a little, couldn’t she? As long as her circuits are fine. Yeah! Kiibo needs her. She can’t leave him hanging. She slammed Pixel’s gate to the circuits closed and quickly stood up and started walking outside to her car. “I’m at home, I’m coming. Are you with the professor? J-Just hold tight, please. Tell me what’s happening while I drive, okay? T-Try to stay calm.” She reassured shakily.
"O-okay.. thank you.. I'm at Hope's Peak right now, the professor's busy so I can't contact him.. I wouldn't have called you otherwise.. really.. thank you so.. so much..."
Kiibo.. you don't know how much you probably just fucked up.. but nobody could really blame him now, he didn't exactly know the full extent what was going on..
Let's just hope he gets out of this alive

Miu... isn’t the best driver exactly. In fact most would say she is downright awe. Speeding, tailgating, rolling stops, taking turns to fast, she might as well be a getaway driver. While that wasn’t handy from day to day life, right now, it was perfect, because she sped the whole way over to Hope’s Peak and shoved her way through the front doors like a hurricane. “Kiibs! Where are you!? Kiibs!!” She yelled, running towards the lab she presumed he was waiting in and banging on the door as loud as physically possible.
Fuck. The lab. He never thought of the lab! He was in his dorm the entire time and never thought about making things easier on Miu!
"H-hold on! I'm not there yet, but I'm on my way."
That was a... stupid decision. A very stupid decision it seems. Kiibo could barely stand at this point, let alone walk! Time definitely wasn't in his favor, but good thing the nurse's lab also happened to be on the first floor. (I think.. Mod doesn't remember the dr1 lab all too well. But plot convenience.) This.. still took a long while however, especially since Kiibo was carrying his charger, which seemed so, so much heavier than usual.. as well as his phone, which he now hung up on since he made it to the lab... this all takes him about.. 25 minutes? Shit.
"I've.. finally arrived Miu.."
He says as he literally leans on the wall next to the door, exhausted.

“Kiibs!” She jolts up and runs up to him once she sees her poor friend staggering against the wall. “God, you look like shit! W-What’s going on with you? Is your battery dying?!” She had gathered tools up in the time that it took poor Kiibo to get over to the lab area, and was luckily prepared to help him get back to normal. She grabbed a screwdriver. “I gotta look inside you to see what the hell is going on, okay? Just s-sit down and relax, alright?” Her free hand shot out and grabbed his, holding it to grant him some kind of comfort through this process.

To answer her question, Kiibo.. really didn't know. His battery was just going haywire for the entirety of the day..
"I.. believe so but.. I-I don't know why.. it's been like this at an accelerated pace for the entirety of the day.."
He then sat down as Miu assisted him to.. hopefully this would work.. it has to.
But, if you all wanted to know, Miu's gesture really did calm him down.. he didn't say or do much about it but.. inside his non-existent heart was fluttering a bit..
Anyways, Miu has 3 ways to do this, all of which need to be started with shutting Kiibo down.
Option A- Fix the battery itself. This is the most risky option, although it was still likely Kiibo would survive this one. Worst-case scenario is that his body would completely shut down, and you'd need to get his AI file fast..
Option B- Remove the cause of the problem. Aka, all memories of Pixel/the test.Highly likely that it will work, as his body would start repairing itself once the cause is over with. Worst-case scenario would be that Kiibo would lose all of his memories of something else.. wonder what exactly however.
Option C- Reset his AI. Guaranteed to work but.. he'd have the mind of an infant, and would need to be raised a third time.
Option A can be repeated, as there is a chance where Kiibo doesn't necessarily die per se, but Miu's repairs don't work initially either.

Miu scanned over her options. Three of them. Each had a plethora of risks and benefits. Option A was the most practical and what was prepared for, but the threat of his body shutting down completely scared her off. Option C was... definitely not happening. Raise him from infant status all over again? He’d lose all of his memories! He’d forget about the professor, about their class, about... her.
All of those in mind, Miu weighed her options and stuck to her guts, choosing Option B. Whatever memory he would lose was worth the risk, and a much better option then a complete shut down or complete memory lose. This was the right choice. She assured herself as she opened his system and got to work fast, deleting all memories of Pixel’s test and the stress it caused her poor friend.

Option B.. worked. All memories consisting of Pixel are being erased. And imma just say Miu plugged him up to his charger soon after for good measure (sorry mun if you didn't like that.)

“Kiibs....?” She asked slowly, almost not believing that Kiibo was functioning and alive. Miu was fully prepared to lose him. She was prepared to cry and scream and kick things about, to grab his chip and build him a new body if need be. But now, he was here... he was talking to her. He was okay.
“You fuckin’ idiot-!” She huffed through her tears, before launching at him and smooshing him in a hug, not caring how emotional or soft she looked at this moment. He could’ve died right in front of her. Her heart couldn’t take that loss. So the relief she felt was... overwhelming to say the least.
"M-Miu what are you-?"
Needless to say, Kiibo was.. erm, shocked to see Miu hug him out of nowhere.. nor care so much about him.. to the point of crying-
Wait.. Crying? Oh.. oh no. He did not mean to upset her or.. make her worried.. that was the last thing he wanted..he hugs her back and calms down a bit.. he kind of had to, for her sake.
"Miu it's.. it's okay. I will be okay.. We will never have to go through this again.. I promise."
Kiibo says, attempting to console Miu, and not knowing what danger he could be in.. But that was okay.. it didn't really seem to matter right now.
K1-B0 is currently charging
Miu sniffled and huffed into his shoulder as the two embraced, she was beyond relieved. She appreciated every ounce of comfort handed to her right now, her nerves were practically on fire now. She looked left and right on him for any signs of more damage in need of fixing, when she found none, she relaxed and just....crumbled against him. “... Fuck... y-you better not start leaking again after all of that shit...” She joked with her tears streaming down her cheeks. “I’m not.... n-not ready to lose you..” She sniffles.
It seems that.. Kiibo could finally relax as well. It was.. really.. over. Hopefully he'd never have to go through this again.. he didn't need nor want to, obviously. For now he just.. allows Miu embrace him, and continues to do the same to her.
"M-Miu I.. I don't want to lose you either... and I won't.. we're going to be okay.. I believe we're going to be okay.."
Kiibo says as he theoretically cries 'tears of happiness'.. or relief.. or both.
K1-B0 is fully charged.

New scenario! Cuz fuck it. I actually came up with this one on my own ;-;.
Also before we start: Remember that Kiibo charges electronically.
Ok so.
Shuichi invites Kokichi, Miu, Kaede, Kaito, Maki, and Kiibo to a sleepover.
And Kiibo basically begs his dad to go. (He initially says no but then learns Miu is there and after that whole water park thing he kinda trusts her.)
And uh he goes. Low and behold, both the Professor and Kiibo forget that he’s at like 20%.
So the sleepover starts, everything’s fine and dandy, until Kiibo starts acting a bit weird. Like drunk weird. (Yes I got that from a comic. Dunno who made it though cuz I only saw a dub...) Everyone is confused as hell, but decides to mostly ignore it until Kiibo just flat out passes out.
Yeah that’s when everybody (except Maki) freaks out. That’s when Maki says something like this:
“Ok everyone, calm down. I know this isn’t normal but there’s got to be a reason. Does anybody know his fuel source?”
Kokichi:
“Nee hee hee! It’s oil! Cuz he’s a robot!”
Miu (snapping back after a moment of obvious distress):
“Ah shuddup! It’s fucking electricity. I think his dad told me that one time we went out for dinner.” (Made a scenario on that too but idk how it’s exactly gonna go. Maybe I’ll type it out someday.)
Maki:
“Ok. Good. Do you know where his charger is?”
Miu:
“N-no! I.. just assumed he was fully charged when he got here! His dad should have it, shouldn’t he!?”
Maki:
“Then call him.”
Miu of course, calls the man.
Miu:
“C’mon.. C’mon.. answer..”
Professor:
“Oh, hi Miu. Is anything going on?”
Miu:
“Why else would I be calling!? Keebs fucking shut down!”
Professor:
“Wait.. what!? Did he bring his charger?”
Miu:
“What do you fucking think!? If one of ya did, we wouldn’t be in this fucking mess!”
Professor:
“Okay okay! No need to scream like that, I’ll come over and hopefully that works. If he doesn’t reactivate within an hour, I’m going to have go take him home and work on repairs”
Miu:
“Okay, good luck and hurry up! I’m actually worried about him y’know..”
Ok so the phone call ends. Professor gets to Shumai’s house, and plugs up Kiibo to his charger. Kiibo, thankfully wakes up after half an an hour.
Kiibo:
“H-huh!? What’s going on? Why do you all look so worried right now? And.. why are you here father..?”
Kaede:
“You shut down Kiibo, why wouldn’t we be worried?”
Kaito:
“Yeah man, you were out cold.”
Professor:
“It’s exactly as your friends said. Almost. You ran out of battery. Miu was the one who called me, so I brought your charger here and hoped for the best.”
Miu:
“Tch, thankfully it did! Dunno what I’d fucking do if you were still out of it.”
Kiibo is.. mostly speechless. First of all, how could he be this.. careless?? Second, he was glad that everyone just.. cared about him so much. After everything is sorted out, the Professor leaves, but not before Kokichi has a chance to ask the question.
Kokichi:
“Hey, Professor? One question before you go.”
Professor:
“What is it Kokichi?”
Kokichi:
“Do robots have dicks?”
Of course. He never got an answer.
The rest of the sleepover goes over fine, after that whole incident. Well, as fine as a sleepover with the drv3 cast COULD go. Miu and Kokichi and Kiibo arguing, Maki making death threats, Kaito and Kaede trying to make everyone get along, and Shuichi being a third wheel.
Tldr: Kiibo goes to a sleepover w/o his charger, loses battery, everyone freaks out and gets the Professor, they charge him, Kokichi asks the question, Professor leaves, sleepover continues.
Sorry if I was OOC. I dunno how to write as anyone here but Kiibo lol.
